A gentle, slightly fruity sweet Mixture of a high proportion of full-bodied Black Cavendish, golden, red and brown Virginia tobaccos and nutty Burley. The different cut of the tobacco leaves leads to a uniform burning. This exquisite blend of tobacco, refined with the aroma of a sweet peach cream, provides an unobtrusive, pleasant scent experience.
Mixed from black, dark and light brown tobaccos, the Auenland Midnight Mixture is finely cut, but also has leaf ribs and flake nubs. The scent is sweet, creamy and fruity, more reminiscent of cassis than peach. If the tobacco is removed from the tin, the fibers are moist and sticky. That is, why you should allow the Auenland Midnight Mixture to pre-dry for one hour before plugging.
If you pay attention for the irregular composition, especially because of the leaf ribs, which can be somewhat fractious, so you can use the Auenland Midnight Mixture, as usual in loose Mixtures, down loose and getting tight upwards.
Until the different components of the Auenland Midnight Mixture burn evenly, it may require multiple use of the tamper and two to three flames. However, if it has been possible to ignite the surface evenly, the embers are very reliable.
The Auenland Midnight Mixture is surprisingly smoky and spicy for a flavored tobacco. Above all, natural-looking tobacco aromas dominate, such as toasted bread and a sour black bread note. Only in the background does the sweetly aroma resonate. With occasional use of the tamper to bring the embers to the tobacco, the burning is very quiet and even. Problems, such as gargling or tongue-burning are also not to be feared. The remaining ash is light and very fine, but it is baked together, so it is best to take the spike of the tamper to help. Condensate, however, occurs only slightly.
Considering the nearly natural taste of the Auenland Midnight Mixture, it is not surprising that the redolency is just for tobacco. In smoking society, however, the Auenland Midnight Mixture will attract little attention.
The rather dark Auenland Midnight Mixture smells appetizingly sweet, yet it reveals rather spicy notes in the smoke. While the more elaborate preparation may make the Mixture more suitable for more experienced smokers, the more understated flavor provides a good entry point for smokers of natural tobaccos in the flavored direction. Nobody needs to fear a sugar shock here - on the contrary, the tobacco looks almost natural and the aroma serves only to round off the strong tobacco flavors.
