So I bought a tin to try, just to try, nothing serious mind you. Oh dear !!! What did I find, a medium strength Virginia with a few citrusy notes, well behaved in the pipe, as long as it’s smoked slowly, no tongue bite, although I’m sure it would if abused. I’m surprised at myself for not having tried this earlier, but hey, at 72 I’m a slow learner. This is an absolutely beautifully crafted tobacco that’s rapidly becoming an all day smoke and it’s going straight into rotation. I think I’d better invest in a few more tins before I finish this one.
Conclusion, a superb Virginia for a Virginia lover like myself, but could also be rewarding to those who want to try a Virginia for the first time but were concerned about tongue bite.
