a very, very nice surprise!
I didn't expect this tobacco to be so incredibly awesome! first off, it's shape allowed for lots and lots of experimentation, because it is essentially..a tobacco block!
but what REALLY separates that from the rest of all the tobaccos I tried, is its' form! I mean, all other flake tobaccos, yes, you can cut the flake in smaller pieces, but you cannot really shape it the way you can with this tobacco! this tobacco I have grinded into small pieces, cut into horizontal flakes, cut into cakes, it can take it all!
but..be warned..this may look easy on the build in a pipe..but you need to be an experienced pipe smoker to handle this! not recommended for novices for sure!
but all in all, taste-wise, it was pretty neutral, more on the rather robust side of Perique, than Virginia..but awesome nonetheless!
I urge more tobacco companies to pack tobacco like this, since, in this form, it kept all its moisture until THE VERY LAST PIECE!
