A strong, smooth dark tobacco, a Virginia base with Kentucky, this is a mans smoke. It is Sam Gawith's 1792, without the Tonquin bean flavouring, this tobacco needs some rubbing out but once packed into a medium sized bowl, this will give a long satisfying smoke, a little heavy perhaps for some, but in the winter I can't do without it. Similar to Petersons Irish Flake, but Lakeland is stronger. One of my favourites.
