Flor de Copán Maduro The Soul of Honduras.
Even the Mayans knew where to find the best climatic conditions and cultivated tobacco thousands of years ago in the area around Santa Rosa de Copán, a cool hill region in Honduras near the border with Guatemala and El Salvador. It is precisely there that the multiple award-winning Flor de Copán cigars are still handcrafted today. Since its introduction, Flor de Copán has been writing a success story like no other—a brand that captures the spirit of the times and impresses with its outstanding price-to-pleasure ratio.
It’s therefore no surprise that this brand has been honored multiple times in the past. All formats (except the Gordito) from both the Classic and Maduro series are wrapped in a cedar leaf, whose aroma transfers to the cigars and gives them a unique, unmistakable character. Three blends at the absolute highest level! The extremely dark wrapper of the Maduro line was specially selected for this series and aged for another 2 years, as aging intensifies the dark coloration. Only a maximum of 2% of the total harvest can be processed as wrapper leaves. The balanced sweetness of the Maduro wrapper stands in absolute contrast to its appearance—it is especially gentle. The filler is a successful and full-bodied blend of tobaccos from Honduras and Nicaragua. They are rich, complex, and highly aromatic. The binder also comes from Honduras to emphasize the character of the country of origin. The result is a full, harmoniously balanced cigar from wrapper to filler with aromas of coniferous wood and chocolate.
Taste: From wrapper to filler, a full, harmoniously balanced blend. Aromas of coniferous wood and chocolate. Slow burn with beautifully white ash formation.
