To coincide with InterTabac 2022, VILLIGER is opening its treasure chest and offering its aficionados a new edition of the VILLIGER San'Doro.

VILLIGER San'Doro was first introduced as a new premium cigar series at IPCPR 2015 in Las Vegas. Two months later, Heinrich Villiger proudly presented the two Nicaraguan lines, Claro and Colorado, and the Brazilian Maduro at InterTabac in Dortmund. While the Claro features the gentler notes of Nicaragua, the Colorado promises a fuller and spicier body. The Brazilian Maduro is medium-bodied and bursts with finesse, leaving no doubt even then that Puros from Brazil are second to none.

Today, the Nicaraguan cigars are rolled in the company's own factory in Estelí, Nicaragua. Tobaccos aged for at least three years are essential for the flavor profile. The first cigars – launched in September 2015 – were even blended with tobaccos from the 2010-2012 harvest years.

And it is precisely from these tobaccos – from said vintage – that cigars have now been created, offered in a small edition.

The slogan "Aged To Perfection" makes it clear: inside this high-gloss lacquered box, ten cigars are waiting to be enjoyed by you. Each box contains five cigars in the Churchill format (50 ring gauge) from the Claro and Colorado series. Both cigars are crafted with a filler and binder from Nicaragua. The light Ecuador Connecticut wrapper of the Claro is flawless and fine-veined. The Ecuador Maduro wrapper of the Colorado impresses with a slight sheen and impeccable feel. A second band (anilla) at the foot rounds off the presentation and highlights the long aging process of the tobaccos once more.
