The La Capitana brand was once used for handmade cigars under the VILLIGER name. Four formats were produced in Nicaragua, rolled exclusively with 100% Nicaraguan tobaccos. The cigar line of the La Capitana brand has become history in Europe, but new cigarillos under the same name are now produced in the VILLIGER factory in Indonesia, made exclusively from the finest Caribbean tobaccos.

The La Capitana Mini and Club Cigarillos consist of a natural wrapper from controlled cultivation. The tobaccos used come exclusively from select cultivation and have been naturally dried and fermented to perfection. The natural tobacco blend without additives originates from vintage tobaccos that have matured naturally. Selected tobacco components such as the Connecticut Seed wrapper, the Java Besuki binder, and the filler – consisting of dark air-cured tobaccos from the Caribbean – complete the intense flavor experience.

The earthy, nutty flavor from the Caribbean filler tobaccos combined with the fine, mild natural wrapper made from Connecticut seed completes the excellent overall impression of the La Capitana Mini and Club Cigarillos.

The La Capitana is offered in two variants: the elegant Mini and the slightly larger Club format. Both cigarillos, Mini and Club, are practically and attractively packaged in striking turquoise 20-count cap boxes. The La Capitana Mini is the smaller format of this series, offering a medium to full-bodied smoking experience that lasts seven to eight minutes. For those who prefer a larger size or a slightly longer smoke, the Club format is ideal.
