Heinrich Villiger celebrates his 94th birthday on May 30th. Few quotes would suit him better than the one above. The enjoyment of a good cigar has always been a special concern for him. Even today, he seizes every opportunity to create a wonderful past for himself. His passion for cigars has been unbroken throughout his life and remains strong to this day. With the VILLIGER Celebration by Heinrich Villiger, we celebrate the grand seigneur of the cigar industry and immerse ourselves in his world of enjoyment. The 6,000 cigars produced are offered exclusively in Germany, Switzerland, and the USA.
The first question that arises is what to give a visionary who has lived his entire life for and with tobacco. He has fulfilled many of his own wishes, sharing some with fellow enthusiasts. Countless outstanding cigars are the result, bringing joy to aficionados for decades. Mr. Villiger has made it his mission to offer the market authentic and high-quality cigars, a principle he has adhered to since joining the company in 1950. Seventy-four years later, it is time to say "thank you" – on behalf of all employees.
The VILLIGER Celebration is not only a gift to Mr. Villiger from his team; it is a symbol and realization of his knowledge, experience, and desires. This is reflected in the balanced harmony of the aromas and flavors. Only the best torcedoras rolled this masterpiece in the form of a Diadema Fina (6x58). This great format reveals little by little what the industry and the company owe to him. This cigar combines the selection of the finest tobaccos, attention to detail, and the passion of everyone involved. In Ecuador, the dark, almost perfect wrapper leaf was grown. The Mexican binder combines filler tobaccos from Nicaragua and also conceals the origins of other tobacco destinations. The cigars were perfectly rolled at the VILLIGER de Nicaragua factory in Estelí.
Each box contains only five cigars. Each cigar is individually and elegantly packaged in a sliding box. The cigar rests in a gold-embossed setting and remains there until the final enjoyment.
