Domaine Rouge The Cavalier Genève "Domaine Rouge – The new classic" represents an important expansion of the Inner Circle line, which was originally launched in 2022. The Swiss company first unveiled this new creation at the PCA trade show, staying true to the tradition of its predecessor. "Inspired by tradition" – this guiding principle embodies the philosophy of this special series.
Behind "Domaine Rouge" lies a profound story. Named after the characteristic red Honduran factory where these exquisite cigars are crafted, it carries a particularly emotional meaning for brand owner Sébastien Decoppet. It represents a loving memory of his father, Pascal Decoppet, who passed away in 2021. The shared passion for cigars and wine connects father and son beyond death. This bond is artfully reflected on the cigar box, which depicts a wine estate behind a tobacco field. As a special gesture of remembrance, Pascal’s birth year, 1956, adorns the lid of the box – a silent testament to family tradition and connection. Taste: In the first third, pleasant notes of hay, roasted wheat, and dark honey unfold on the palate, accompanied by a subtle undertone of lightly roasted café au lait. The rounded profile continues into the second third, enriched by an additional creamy vanilla sweetness. The final third surprises with a harmonious combination of herbs and chocolate, perfectly rounding off the tasting experience.
