Eladio Diaz »De Cigarro En Cigarro«
Eladio Diaz was seven years old when Julio Jaramillo – the famous musician from Ecuador – scored a big hit with the song »De Cigarro En Cigarro«. Young Eladio was fascinated and sang this wonderfully sad love song all day long, a tale about a man who, unfortunately, must go through his days without his great love, yet can never forget her. The love story itself didn’t interest him much; for him, it was all about one line that inspired him to say to his mother: »Mama, this is how I will live my life, from cigar to cigar.« Diaz’s mother then took her son to the cigar factory of Francisco »Panchito« Biloria Vencosme, which was named »La Diana« in honor of his granddaughter. Diaz spent eight years working and learning under Panchito. The rest is history. Eladio’s love for tobacco made him, over the years, one of the most respected master blenders of all time. With »La Diana«, which naturally pays tribute to the starting point of his extraordinary career, Eladio introduces his second permanent cigar line after »Before and After«. »La Diana« is available in the formats Short Corona, Robusto, and Toro. The blend, topped with a three-year-aged H2000 wrapper from Ecuador, is, according to Eladio, one of the boldest and most complex creations he has ever made. Prepare to be seduced by an intense creaminess and a wild dance of sweet and spicy notes.
