The name says it all: Ligero stands for the top leaves of the tobacco plant – sun-drenched, rich in oil, and intense in flavor. Double Ligero means that there is twice as much of it in the blend.

Beneath the oily Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper lies a blend of Dominican Ligero tobaccos from the company's own plantations in La Canela. This combination produces a dense, voluminous smoke that envelops the palate with strong notes of leather, black pepper, roasted wood, and dark earth. On the finish, the Double Ligero surprises with a sweet nuance of licorice and stone fruit, elegantly rounding off the intense character.
