Perdomo Bourbon Barrel-Aged – Structured Aging of Nicaraguan Tobaccos The Bourbon Barrel-Aged series from Perdomo Nicaragua is crafted using tobaccos that have undergone a minimum of six years of aging. A key feature of this line is the specialized finishing process, where the tobaccos are stored in charred American white oak bourbon barrels to develop a defined aromatic profile. The Perdomo Nicaragua Bourbon Barrel-Aged Sun Grown Gordo features a Nicaraguan Sun Grown wrapper which received an additional 10 months of bourbon barrel finishing. This wrapper is combined with Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos (H-2000), which have also been aged for six years. In the large Gordo format, this long-filler provides a distinct tobacco character with pronounced wood and spice notes. A technically structured product from Nicaragua for enthusiasts of mature tobacco compositions.
