Flor de Copán 1795 EL 2025 A Tribute to 230 Years of Tobacco Tradition In 1795, the Royal Tobacco Factory of Copán was established in Santa Rosa de los Llanos—now known as Santa Rosa de Copán. Its founding stemmed from a royal decree issued by the Spanish Crown in 1765, which mandated the creation of a tobacco manufactory responsible for setting prices, distributing seeds, and regulating the entire tobacco production of the region. This marked the beginning of a tobacco tradition inherited from pre-Columbian cultures that remains alive to this day. In honor of the 230th anniversary of this historic factory, Flor de Copán now presents the exclusive Edición Limitada 1795. The cigars are “hecho a mano”—handmade—and are distinguished by their elegant format, measuring 157 mm in length with a ring gauge of 42. The tobacco blend is crafted by the Grupo de Maestros at the La Flor de Copán manufactory in Santa Rosa de Copán. The tobacco leaves used in this edition come from Honduras, Nicaragua, and Ecuador. The flavor profile of these cigars is characterized by roasted and woody aromas, accompanied by nuances of dried fruit and delicate spice. Over an approximately one-hour smoking experience, notes of roasted nuts, coffee, almond, cinnamon, and pepper unfold—creating a complex and refined composition.
