Gordito - Gordito 102mm / 23,8mm / 12-count box

Inca Sol – A Peruvian Rarity in an Exclusive Box Format
Genuine Peruvian cigars are hard to come by – which makes it all the more exciting that the beloved Inca line is growing. The distinctive Inca blend is now available in a compact Gordito vitola, developed together with Kopp Tobaccos. Rather than the pyramid-style box of the classic sizes, this new release comes in a slim, elegant 12-count box – an exclusive, approachable entry point into the world of premium Peruvian tobacco, and a great gift for adventurous smokers who like to think outside the box.

The Inca story is an unusual one. London cigar expert Mitchell Orchant and Gennaro Lettieri, owner of "Tabacalera del Oriente" in Tarapoto, Peru, spent over two years perfecting a puro made entirely from Peruvian tobacco. While most manufacturers use Peruvian leaf only as a minor component of their blends, at Inca it takes center stage.

There's another thing that sets this blend apart: it contains leaves of the legendary Pelo de Oro, or "golden hair" tobacco. This once-prized varietal is now exceedingly rare, as its demanding cultivation has led most farmers to abandon it — leaving only a handful of growers worldwide willing to take it on.

Gennaro Lettieri is one of them. Nearly 15 years ago, the Italian entrepreneur made the move to Peru, acquired land, and began growing tobacco and cacao. At his own factory, "Tabacalera del Oriente," he turns the harvest into cigars now valued well beyond Peru's borders. His Pelo de Oro is a sought-after rarity among blenders, typically used only in small amounts — but with Inca, you experience it almost unblended, straight from its country of origin.

On the palate, Pelo de Oro lives up to its legendary reputation: fine spice meets creamy elegance, layered with a natural sweetness that carries through the entire smoke. Herbal notes and subtle peppery accents add further depth. The result is a mild-to-medium-bodied smoke that welcomes newcomers while still offering plenty for seasoned aficionados to discover.

With the new Inca Sol, this remarkable Peruvian puro gains an exclusive format developed together with Kopp Tobaccos. The elegant 12-count box combines rarity, enjoyment, and a spirit of discovery — the perfect choice for anyone who likes to explore beyond the usual, or for gifting that exact experience to someone else.
