A man with a dream
In 1998, Eduardo Fernandez went to Nicaragua with a dream: to grow the best tobacco in the world that captures the essence of the old Cuban cigars. To achieve this, he traveled to Cuba, assembled a world-class team of Cuban agronomists who had worked at the highest levels of Cubatobaco—many of them for over half a century—and brought them to Nicaragua.
These men supervised tobacco production during the golden age of Cuban cigars, knew exactly the flavor for which they were famous, and realized they could restore the style and aroma of the Cuban leaf using traditional Cuban methods combined with the resources available to them in Nicaragua. The tobacco they cultivated is called "Aganorsa Leaf."

The Aniversario Connecticut features a classic band in deep blue and silver, giving it an elegant, almost regal appearance. The lower half of each cigar is wrapped in a translucent white paper sleeve, while the beautifully golden Connecticut wrapper creates a striking visual contrast. Its silky texture is as impressive as its appearance, inviting you to admire it long before the first draw.
The Blend
This blend is crowned with a superb Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper grown under Ecuador's natural cloud cover, renowned for producing exceptionally smooth and refined wrapper leaves. Beneath it lies a carefully selected Nicaraguan binder and filler composed of premium tobaccos from the celebrated growing regions of Jalapa and Estelí, delivering the signature character for which Aganorsa Leaf is known.
The Taste
The blend produces a mild cigar with a medium-to-full body and rich, satisfying flavor. Notes of roasted cashews, vanilla, cedar, and delicate white pepper are beautifully balanced by a creamy sweetness, creating a refined, smooth, and elegant smoking experience from start to finish.
