San Martín Piramide San Martín is a premium line from the Dominican Republic, in which each finished cigar is aged in the tobacco warehouse for at least 4 to 6 months for “aging.” The oldest tobacco used was purchased in 2020 and has been aging in the warehouse ever since, waiting to be used to deliver a particularly harmonious and mature smoking experience. Matias Maragoto personally oversees the quality with great care and repeatedly smoked and tested the blends until he was completely satisfied with the balance of the tobaccos and the smoking characteristics. Only then were the cigars released to the market. Around 70 roller pairs currently work on San Martín; only a selected circle of master torcedores is allowed to produce this line – a true handcrafted masterpiece from experienced master rollers. Each roller pair produces around 350 cigars per day. Higher production would be possible, but at the expense of quality – which is why San Martín clearly focuses on precision and care. The Piramides offers an elegant format at 156 mm in length and a ring gauge of 52, delivering excellent craftsmanship and an intense, balanced smoking experience for lovers of Dominican premium cigars.
