Joya de Nicaragua – Clásico Original Green Room Selection
With the Clásico Original Green Room Selection, Joya de Nicaragua presents a special edition inspired by an important chapter in the brand’s history. The Clásico Original is one of Joya de Nicaragua’s most traditional cigars and was already served in the Green Room of the White House during the 1970s, where heads of state and diplomats would gather for conversation and relaxation after official receptions.
The Green Room Selection draws on this historical connection and reinterprets it for today’s aficionado. The personal “Green Room” represents a place where enjoyment, relaxation and good conversation come together.
The cigar is made in the elegant Diadema format (6 x 54), one of Joya de Nicaragua’s most traditional sizes. A silky Ecuador Connecticut Shade wrapper covers a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan filler.
The result is a balanced and relatively mild smoking experience with creamy and woody notes as well as a subtle peppery character on the finish. Several sources describe the profile as mild to mild-medium, with a particularly creamy and woody character.
The Clásico Original Green Room Selection is offered exclusively in the Diadema format and is packaged in boxes of 20 cigars. The edition is limited worldwide to only 1,200 boxes, with 700 boxes allocated to the US market and 500 boxes for international markets.
