It is crafted with a dark, oily Nicaraguan Maduro wrapper that has been aged for a full 10 years and subsequently refined for at least 14 months in bourbon barrels. The binder is a special Nicaraguan shade-grown tobacco – a hybrid developed exclusively by Perdomo from Cameroon and H-2000 seeds, cultivated at the family's own Finca Natalie in Estelí.

The blend is complemented by carefully selected Nicaraguan filler tobaccos from Estelí, Condega and the renowned Jalapa Valley. The result is a medium- to full-bodied Nicaraguan puro with remarkable balance.
