Arturo Fuente Opus X Perfecxion No. 2
The legendary Fuente Fuente OpusX cigars are among the most sought-after rarities in the world and make their way to Europe only once a year! The entire line is made from 100 percent Dominican tobacco grown on the family’s own plantation, "Chateau de la Fuente". OpusX was the first Puro from the Dominican Republic and remains the only brand made entirely from Dominican tobaccos. It immediately achieved worldwide fame and has been named Cigar of the Year on several occasions. "On the market, without exaggeration, it created the effect of a nuclear explosion. We practically set the trend for producing complex, spicy, aromatic full-body cigars," recalls Carlos Fuente Jr.

How the Fuente Fuente OpusX got its name: After father and son had become a true team, they quickly agreed that their family name should appear twice on their new cigar – Fuente Fuente. The rest of the name came much later. "Opus" is the Latin word for "obra", meaning "work of art" in Spanish, and was chosen to symbolize the cigar’s superior quality. The "X" came from "Project X", the name under which they had originally begun planting tobacco on Dominican soil.
The Perfecxion No. 2 is presented in the distinctive Torpedo format and combines the elaborate craftsmanship of the OpusX series with carefully selected tobaccos from the Dominican Republic. Its characteristic pointed head gives the cigar its unmistakable appearance while also emphasizing its exclusive character. The blend, made entirely from Dominican tobaccos, develops a complex, intense and spicy profile that is particularly appealing to experienced cigar connoisseurs.
