The legendary Fuente Fuente OpusX cigars are among the most sought-after rarities in the world and make their way to Europe only on a limited basis. The entire line is made from 100% Dominican tobacco grown on the family’s own plantation, “Chateau de la Fuente.” OpusX was the first Puro from the Dominican Republic and remains one of the most renowned cigar lines made entirely from Dominican tobacco. It immediately achieved worldwide fame and has been named Cigar of the Year on several occasions. “Without exaggeration, it created the effect of a nuclear explosion on the market. We practically set the trend for producing complex, spicy, aromatic full-bodied cigars,” recalls Carlos Fuente Jr.
Each tobacco leaf is carefully selected from a dedicated stock reserved exclusively for these cigars. These tobaccos are internationally renowned for their superior quality. The standard for this series is exceptionally high: the Fuentes have set out to create a unique cigar unmatched in quality and flavor. Therefore, the cigars are crafted only by highly skilled rollers. In each cigar, artistry and craftsmanship come together perfectly. The pinnacle of perfection is the subsequent aging process in chambers fully lined with Spanish cedar wood.
