Flor de Selva Año de la Cabra – Year of the Goat A special smoke for a promising year: With the Flor de Selva Año de la Cabra – Year of the Goat, Maya Selva continues her tradition of limited-edition releases celebrating Chinese New Year. In 2027, the Goat takes centre stage – an animal sign that is regarded in Chinese culture as a bringer of good fortune and a symbol of prosperity. Made entirely from Honduran tobaccos, this limited edition brings together different harvests from 2020 to 2024. A wrapper from Finca San Carlos, a binder from Jamastrán and filler tobaccos from Jamastrán, Azacualpa and Santa Bárbara create a complex blend. The tobaccos have been carefully fermented and aged for several years. On the palate, the Año de la Cabra opens with a creamy texture and delicate spice. As the smoke develops, notes of cedarwood, earth and leather emerge, accompanied by hazelnut and spicy nuances. Medium- to full-bodied, it combines aromatic depth and character with a pleasant balance. The limited edition also reflects its zodiac sign in its appearance: red and gold evoke the traditional colours of Chinese New Year, while a contrasting wrapper at the foot of the cigar playfully resembles a goat's hoof.
