Alec Bradley Kintsugi The cigar conceived by Alec and Bradley Rubin, Kintsugi, embodies a unique Eastern philosophy applied to the art of cigar making. Inspired by the Japanese art of Kintsugi, dating back to the 15th century, this cigar symbolizes the beauty of imperfection and unity in division. In Kintsugi, broken ceramics are repaired with gold or silver, highlighting the cracks and transforming the object into something more beautiful. Alec & Bradley Kintsugi pays homage to the ancient Japanese art of joining ceramics with gold lacquer to make them even more beautiful. Cigars, like the gold lacquer, are a binder that brings people from all walks of life together. Made from tobaccos from Honduras and Nicaragua, Kintsugi features the Honduran wrapper from the Trojes region, which is located directly opposite the mountains of Jalapa. This geographical location significantly contributes to the characteristic flavor profile of the tobacco and gives the cigar a unique note. The medium to full-bodied Kintsugi offers a harmonious blend of flavors including dried fruits, cinnamon, espresso bean, and hazelnut. These combine to create a rounded, multifaceted flavor experience.
