In 1998, Eduardo Fernandez set out for Nicaragua with a dream: to grow the best tobacco in the world, capturing the essence of the old Cuban cigars. To achieve this, he traveled to Cuba, assembled a world-class team of Cuban agronomists who had worked at the highest levels of Cubatobaco, in many cases for over half a century, and brought them to Nicaragua.

These men oversaw tobacco production during the golden era of Cuban cigars, knowing exactly the flavor for which they were famous. They realized that they could restore the style and aroma of Cuban tobacco by combining traditional Cuban methods with the resources available in Nicaragua. The tobacco they grew was named Aganorsa Leaf.

Cerberus - a three-headed dog with a snake for a tail - was tired of his job. For thousands of years, he had guarded the cold and gloomy gate to the underworld and never let a dead person out or a living person in.

Until the day he received the tempting offer to guard the beautiful tobacco plantations of Eduardo Rodriguez - the founder and owner of Aganorsa Leaf.

The dark gateway to the underworld or sunny tobacco plantations?

The decision was quickly made in favor of the plantations and so the journey for the world's most powerful guard dog took him to one of the best tobacco-growing regions in the world. This or something similar is how the story unfolded ...

Of course, you won't find a three-headed monster when you visit the Aganorsa Leaf plantations. Cerberus has opted for a more discreet appearance and has taken on the appearance of a sturdy bulldog. And this is what the new Aganorsa Leaf Cerberus is named after.

The Cerberus comes clad in a strong Corojo 2012 wrapper. This exciting wrapper leaf brings with it a light spiciness and a rich, smooth body. The filler contains a single leaf of the rare Medio tiempo to add depth and complexity. With the Cerberus, we present a truly special cigar.
