Back and better than ever before

We present you with a “Don Pepin” that Don Pepin fans of the first hour will be particularly pleased about. Long before the Garcias established themselves as the makers behind premium cigars such as “My Father” and “Flor de las Antillas”, they produced cigars in very small quantities in a modest business called “El Rey de los Habanos” in Miami's Little Havana district. Still rolled by the master himself, brands such as the “Don Pepin Blue Label” and “Tatuaje” as well as the VC were part of the daily business. In 2009, the Garcias moved their operations to Estelí, Nicaragua, where they opened one of the largest and most beautiful cigar factories in the world.

 

With all the hustle and bustle and the hype surrounding Garcia's more recent creations, the VC was somewhat forgotten. But luckily for all aficionados, the Garcia family brought out a new edition of the VC, now under the label “Don Pepin VC Series (Green)”, just in time for PCA 2023. The line has been revised in terms of both the blend and the packaging. The most striking change is the new bands and packaging, which bring it in line with the aesthetics of the other cigars in the Don Pepin Garcia brand, such as the original line, also known as the “Blue Label”, as well as the “Series JJ” and “Clasicos” lines.

All the tobaccos used come from My Father's own plantations. The Puro seduces with a slightly sweet note from the very first sniff. This sweetness can be found immediately in the first third and accompanies us for almost the entire course of the smoke. Notes of earth, espresso and a slight peppery note, which is atypical for My Father, await you. Grab one and light up one of My Father's first blends.
