Kopp Tobaccos Fabiola's Kopp’s first proprietary cigarillo is named Fabiola’s. It is a tribute from Oliver Kopp to his wife, who has stood steadfastly by his side in both their private and business lives for the past ten years. Always humble, she continues to impress him with her intelligence, determination, and consistency. Naturally, such a dedication had to be something special. The goal was to create a subtly sweet cigarillo, entirely free from added flavorings. It was designed to offer a smooth and easy draw while being mild, creamy, and full of rich aroma.
Master Blender Thomas Nitsche advocated for a filler blend featuring Virginia tobacco, commonly used in many pipe tobaccos. Known for its impressive natural sweetness, Virginia can contain up to 25% natural sugar. PDR owner Abe Flores Rosario selected complementary tobaccos to create this unique cigarillo blend. The Fabiola’s are crafted in the La Galera factory of tobacco legend Jochy Blanco, located in Tamboril, the famous Dominican cigar hub just outside Santiago de los Caballeros. The Kopp Tobaccos tasting panel was immediately captivated by the smooth, balanced smoke. With such an impressive collaboration of experts, the result could only be exceptional. An elegant and refined cigarillo for both ladies and gentlemen.
