A "floral" Virginia (25% sugar) from South India. Highly recommended for sweet and lovely tinted mixtures. Particularly suited to brighten up Black Cavendish blends.
Characterisation:
The Virginia Mysore 4.0mm is unusually cut into small approx 4x4mm measured squares that are light and medium brown, interspersed with a few darker squares. The scent is sweet and reminiscent of fruit bread, which is typical of Mysore and the sugar content of this tobacco. Probably due to the large surface of the squares the tobacco is a little dry and tends to crumble. Because of that it can however be stuffed immediately.
Plugging:
The Virginia Mysore 4.0 mm can be easily trickled into the pipe. The best place in three stages, wherein the lowermost is plugged the loosest and the topmost firmer with well-dosed pressure.
Light up:
The large surface area and the dryness of the squares of the Virginia Mysore 4.0mm ensures that the tobacco can be ignited with a flame and immediately forms a uniform glow. Because of the unusual shape use the tamper once and give fire again, then the tobacco burns quietly until the end.
Smoking properties:
The Virginia Mysore 4.0mm is delicately spicy and ostensibly not as sweet as you might think when reading the manufacturer text. The familiar from some of Virginia smoky aromas of roasted bread are very pleasant accompanied by a hint of wholemeal biscuits sweetness. So uncomplicated as its tastes and is also in strength and smoking behavior - neither is to fear gargling and tonguebite. The remaining bright and fine ash makes as well as the little condensate hardly work in the subsequent cleaning.
Redolency:
The room note of Virginia Mysore 4.0 mm is tobacco genuine but unobtrusive and should in tolerant society hardly be noticed.

The Virginia Mysore 4.0mm is a bright, medium and dark brown tobacco, which was cut into small squares. Its moderate strength, as well as its uncomplicated style, from the plugging on the ignition to the smoking behavior make it especially interesting for beginners who are looking for a pure Virginia without "funny business". Due to its relatively simple flavor profile it will score for more experienced smokers accompanied by sturdier tobaccos, because that it is intended. The Virginia Mysore 4,0mm is an uncomplicated tobacco which is precisely due to this property, suitable for the sweet rounding for self mixed Mixtures.
