The Hoyo de Monterrey Monterreyes No.4 is the second format of the 2021 Edición Limitada to now hit the market. The Vitola de Galera, with a length of 145 mm and an impressive ring gauge of 55, is referred to as “Maravillas No.4.” It appears for the first time in Habanos' range and promises an unforgettable enjoyment experience. The Monterreyes No.4 is characterized by Hoyo de Monterrey's typical, light, and finely aromatic tobacco blend. As usual for cigars of the Edición Limitada, it consists exclusively of tobaccos that have been aged for at least two years.

The lacquered boxes contain ten cigars each. In 2000, Habanos S.A. introduced three special cigar formats from well-known brands to the market for the first time, which immediately captured the hearts of aficionados worldwide. Since then, cigar lovers eagerly await the new formats each year, which are then only available in limited quantities. For the limited productions, specific formats are always selected that do not belong to the brands' standard portfolio. They are also distinguished by their naturally fermented, dark wrappers.

These wrappers come from tobacco leaves from the upper part of the plants. Only the best Habanos torcedores with great experience and exceptional skill are chosen to roll these limited cigars. For the production of the Ediciónes Limitadas, only tobaccos aged for at least two years are used for the filler, binder, and wrapper, sourced from the finest Vegas Finas de Primera of the world-famous Vuelta Abajo region. The cigars are identified as “Edición Limitada” by a second, black-gold band with the year printed on it.
