Chinchalero Mezcla 40 Chinchalero Mastermind John Atherton delights aficionados worldwide with a new series. The »Chinchalero Mezcla 40« is now available in three formats: »Canones« (Short Gordo), »Pequenos« (Short Rothschild) and »Robusto«. All formats are wrapped in a silky, milky coffee-colored Connecticut wrapper from Ecuador. A Criollo 98 from Nicaragua forms the binder, and the filler tobaccos are all from Jalapa and Estelí, Nicaragua. The blend is hand-rolled in the renowned Toraño factory. From the first puff, there is an intense sweetness reminiscent of popcorn, accompanied by a gentle chili heat. As the smoke develops, it becomes decidedly spicier and slightly peppery, while the wonderfully buttery sweetness remains in the background. Taste: The first puff brings an intense, popcorn-like sweetness and a touch of chili. The flavor becomes spicier and peppery throughout the smoke, with creamy, buttery sweetness persisting to the end.
