Black II The Cavalier Genève "Black II" was originally developed for the American market due to its strength. Since summer 2017, it has finally been available in Germany as well. Its oily-shiny, dark wrapper comes from the San Andrés Valley in Mexico, while the binder is from Nicaragua. The filler consists of a blend of Honduran and Nicaraguan tobaccos. The characteristic diamond-shaped gold leaf emblem, typical of Cavalier, also adorns the wrapper here. It is complemented by a narrow black belly band, bearing the name "Cavalier" accompanied by an image of a horse. (Cavalier means "gentleman" or "rider" in French). The aroma of these cigars is medium-bodied, characterized by creamy and sweet notes, complemented by light wood and pepper tones.
Taste: The base is carried by a pleasant underlying sweetness. A blend of chocolate, subtle wood, sweet cream, and a hint of pepper. Over time, the pepper gives way to an even creamier smoke, while the underlying sweetness gains intensity. In the second half, dark malt nuances join in.
