Bock. y Ca. «A»
Bock y Ca. returns this year with a remarkable cigar. The Bock «A» celebrates its comeback as a limited edition in Germany and Switzerland.
It was just one year ago that VILLIGER SÖHNE celebrated the 25th birthday of this brand in their house. With the Bock Renacimiento 25 años, the company honored the inventor of the cigar band (Gustav Bock Müller) with a special edition.
The 26th year is also to be celebrated, and with an exceptionally large cigar. The Bock y Ca. «A» is not a cigar for a quick smoke. Anyone who, like Bock, has been present in the industry for so many decades has a lot to tell – and that takes time. This cigar from the Dominican Republic offers smoking pleasure that can last 120 minutes or longer. For this, it was of particular importance to create a balanced blend that tells a story over the entire duration.
Matías Maragoto (ABAM S.A.) chose an Ecuadorian Connecticut tobacco as the wrapper. An Indonesian leaf is used for the binder. Maragoto enjoys working with this tobacco, as it blends so wonderfully. The filler consists of Dominican Piloto and Nicaraguan tobacco. The mixture is similar to the current Bock y Ca. series from the house of VILLIGER, but has even more expression.
Its packaging also gives this special cigar expression. Each cigar is individually packed in a printed wooden box. The sliding lid conceals the Bock y Ca. «A» until its grand appearance. Whoever opens the wooden box will find a cigar of considerable size. This cigar measures a full 23.5 cm in length and has a 47 ring gauge. The cigar band in classic light blue is a tribute to the history of Gustav Bock Müller. The design of the band will make collectors' hearts beat faster. In 1999, the first Bock cigar set foot on European soil. It is precisely this band that, after 26 years, once again adorns this limited edition.
In total, only 1000 cigars will be available in Germany and Switzerland. Exclusive packaged cigar with at least 120 minutes of smoking pleasure. Thus, the decision remains open as to whether the cigar is better suited as a gift, or for one's own enjoyment. In either case, someone will be delighted.
