Manufacturer Description:
A pipe tobacco, which tastes for tobacco. Unadulterated and real tobacco. Spicy Virginia tobaccos from America as well as Java and other choiced import tobaccos. Practical middle cut. Smells pleasant in the pipe. Excellent for mixing.

Characterisation:
The Krüll in its pouch can be be taken with you very easyly, but should be transferred in an airtight sealable container for a longer storage (especially if broken). The tobacco is very firmly pressed into the pouch and should be loosened before plugging, then you can see the frizzy cut of the predominantly golden yellow fibers, between middle brown tobacco fibers are mixed. Although this may be reminiscent of a cigarette tobacco, so the fragrance is a surprise. Sweet, fruity and fine spicy at the same time it reminds of dry apricots and reveals selected Virginia, because a flavor is not used. Despite the firm pressing the Krüll can be plugged immediately.

Plugging:
The Krüll is plugged as usual for Loose Cuts, lower loosely and upwards gently tighter. The tobacco tolerates well even a little firmer plug, so you can not do much wrong.

Light up:
If you use the tamper once in between, two flames are sufficient to ignite the Krüll evenly.

Smoking  properties:
The Krüll makes it immediately clear that it is a strong tobacco, also as regards the nicotine content. It is strong spicy and smoky, with tart resinous notes, which one would like to attribute to the used Java, as these flavors in a pipe tobacco seem unusual. In addition, however, are also clearly pleasant to taste roasted aromas and flavors that remind of juicy black bread. The burning is uncomplicated and without "Virginia-mischief" and when the tobacco goes out, medium gray ash and hardly any condensate remain behind, but some tobacco crumbs can stick in the pipe.

Redolency:
In the room, the Krüll spreads a harsh tobacco smell, so it should not necessarily be enjoyed in the company of non-smokers.

Conclusion:
Despite the simple preparations and the uncomplicated burning off the Krüll is not necessarily recommended to the absolute beginner. The Java used gives the Virginia, with its roasted black bread flavors, a powerful antagonist, which provides tart spice and resinous smoke for an unusual and therefore more interesting interaction. The fact that a balanced relationship prevails is due to the apt tobacco mixers. Experienced smokers will appreciate this, but even those one would recommend the Krüll especially at the later hours of the day or after a sumptuous meal.
